Now hiring:

• Cylinder Shop Technician: We are looking for somebody to staff our cylinder shop full-time (45 hours/week). You must have experience with piston engines (aircraft and/or automotive), an intuitive sense for troubleshooting, and stringent personal and ethical standards. At least two years’ experience with engines is required, and specific knowledge of cylinders and how to maintain them is an asset. You will be tearing down individual cylinders, cleaning them, inspecting them for damage, and performing reassembly. Additional duties will include cylinder boring with our Sunnen honing tool, pressure-testing, valve grinding, fitting bushings, and inventorying cylinder components. You will have the opportunity to make the shop your own, and your input on how to improve our shop processes will help Aerotec Engines expand its list of offered services in the future.
